We’re not odd. No, but “normal” would be a stretch. A huge stretch. See, to the naked, human eye, we could pass as other humans who just live a really, really... different life, but that just shows how blind humans are.
My brother’s a warlock. So is my dad. By now your probably thinking ‘Wait, if they’re warlocks, then you must be-’ A witch. I’m not like a Harry Potter witch, with a wand and an owl who delivers my mail, I’m just your classic ‘scary green skinned witch with a wart on her nose and an evil laugh.’ Minus the skin and the wart.
I do go to a witch school though, but it’s really small, and there are only 27 level eight kids in the school, and most of them I’ve known since about the age of four, ‘cause that's when your powers start to show.
My name is Juliet, after the character in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Witches and Warlocks are all really big fans of Shakespeare ‘cause he was a Warlock himself. That’s how in his play Macbeth, the scene with the witches is so incredibly accurate.
Also, the Salem witch trials weren’t just a bunch of crap. Although often they needed to investigate who they where burning more carefully, because often their suspects weren't correct. That didn’t stop our species from becoming nearly extinct.
